Linda served as the Executive Director for Susan G. Komen for 21 years. She has spent over twenty-seven years as a breast cancer/women's health advocate in the State of Illinois. Linda continues to focus on advocacy at both the state and national levels.
Working in the field of education and early-childhood development/advocacy, she spent 16 years in the private and public school sectors. Ten of those years serving in an elected public office as school board member of Peoria Heights Community Unit School District #325.
She has a passion for faith based organizations and served as the Director for Women's Ministries in 50 churches in Illinois and Indiana for 13 years through the Central District Missionary Church.
Her community board leadership includes positions on boards for Goodwill Industries, Junior League of Peoria,
Hult Health Center, and the Illinois Women's Health Campaign that resulted in Illinois establishing the Nation's first Office of Women's Health within our State Department of Health.
